| Punch excision will remove a circular plug of tissue between 2-8 mm in diameter, through the epidermis and dermis down to the subcutaneous fat. The punch biopsy procedure may result in a linear scar if sutured or a small circular scar if not sutured. Slides Video [Back to treatment list] |
